Welcome to the SoFlo Academy of the Arts Blog!

By: Nina Goyal, Founder & CEO SoFlo Academy of the Arts

At SoFlo Academy of the Arts (SFAA), we have a mission of providing arts education without barriers. We believe that everyone has a right to accessible arts education. This is not just a hobby, but rather a way for people to connect, a tool for healing, and a spark for lifelong learning. For years, we have worked on providing free-of-charge, high-quality education to young students. Today, we’re taking that mission a step further by launching this blog. This will be a dedicated space to share, learn, and grow together as a strong arts community.

We welcome everyone and are so excited to be diving into so many different aspects of the arts with this blog. We will discuss music therapy trends with updates on how the field is evolving and why it is important. We’ll provide announcements on scholarships and local arts programs to keep students informed and empowered. We will be breaking down important news from the arts world and share how it impacts our communities. We’ll also discuss the heart here at SFAA with updates on our progress and volunteer/student highlights.

We are so excited to begin posting regularly, and will be starting with our very first volunteer highlight! We’re thrilled to introduce you to one of the incredible individuals who gives their time and talent to keep music alive for students.

In order for this blog to thrive, and for SFAA to continue making a positive impact, we need your help to amplify the music! Here’s how you can help support us today: take a look at our current courses, watch our videos, share this post with someone else who loves the arts, and join our mailing list so you are always updated.

Thank you for being a part of our SFAA family.

Barriers removed. Voices found. Stories told. This is SFAA.
